In June, more than 2,000 members of the Trinity family stepped up to meet the Trustee Challenge, unlocking $1 million to support the college and its mission. Those 2,000 donors were part of the 7,898 alumni, parents, and friends who made a gift to Trinity this past year. In all, 6,820 alumni made a contribution in FY’19. That’s an 8 percent increase over the previous year in the number of donors, which was the largest percentage increase of any NESCAC school this year. That increase in donors lifted the college’s overall giving participation rate from 28.5 percent to 30.4 percent.
“Our alumni are so committed to and so passionate about Trinity,” said Dominique Matteson, director of annual giving. “That passion is clearly reflected in this year’s giving results and by the 115 alumni who stepped forward to give their time as new fundraising volunteers this year. That dedication powers Trinity and enhances the experience for all students every day.”
