Why did you choose Trinity?
I fell in love with Trinity because this school provides me with the ability to continue playing golf at a competitive collegiate level while still prioritizing my academic curriculum. At Trinity, students have the ability to participate in multiple clubs and extracurricular activities that interest them. Personally, I have been able to work for the Austin Arts Center, Admissions, and the Athletic Department, and I have also been able to hold leadership positions in Alpha Chi Omega, the Pre-Law society, and the Political Science Honor Society. None of that would have been possible if Trinity didn’t have endless opportunities for engagement and collaboration on campus for its students.

Favorite Class/Professor:
My sophomore spring I was able to participate in the Legislative Internship Program, run by Professor Do. Through this program, I had the privilege of interning for Rep. Cristin McCarthy Vahey in the Connecticut General Assembly. I also took a seminar with Professor Do through the program. By participating in this program, I was able to see first hand how legislation is passed in Connecticut. By participating in this class so early in my college career, I have been able to apply the skills that I have learned in my current day-to-day.

Favorite Co-Curricular Activity:
Trinity College Women’s Golf!

What do you love most about Trinity?
I enjoy the fact that students have the opportunity to experience new things and branch out of their comfort zones. This past year, I was able to balance being a student athlete while also studying abroad at the Trinity College Rome Campus. This would not have been possible without the support and encouragement from my coaches and professors.

What are your goals after you graduate from Trinity?
I hope to gain some working experience and apply to law school in the future.

Favorite place on campus and/or in Hartford:
The fire pits outside the Cornelia Center!

What’s one thing you wish you knew before coming to college?
Don’t be afraid to try a new activity or join a new club! In Rome I ended up interning at a gelateria for the semester – this was a whole new experience for me!
