Welcome Statement from Directors:

At the Center for Hartford Engagement and Research (CHER) at Trinity, our goal is to connect with the Hartford community, appreciate its culture and diversity, and collaborate with local social entrepreneurs and changemakers. We also aim to apply our academic skills to address the questions and issues raised by Hartford residents. If you’re a new student at Trinity, we extend a warm welcome not only to our campus but also to our vibrant city. We hope the resources provided will help you discover Hartford’s “hot spots” and diverse neighborhoods, and make the city your home. For Trinity faculty, we offer resources to expand your classroom activities and collaborate with the CHER team. Welcome home!
