Parking

Parking on campus will be limited during Commencement Weekend.

A limited number of accessible parking passes are available for guests with mobility impairments and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with limited mobility can be dropped off at a golf cart station to be transported to the ceremony. Wheelchair seating will be available on the Main Quad.

Please discourage family members or friends from parking on sidewalks or roadways or blocking parked vehicles. Parking in such a manner could result in removal of the vehicle from campus at the owner’s expense. There is no parking allowed on the south side of Vernon Street. Parking on both sides of this street will hinder emergency vehicles and regular traffic. Hartford police regularly ticket and tow vehicles parked on the wrong sides because these streets, especially Allen Place, are the best arteries to Hartford Hospital from campus. Hartford police will patrol these areas throughout the day.

The following parking lots will be closed for parking during Commencement:

• Admissions and Career Development
• Hallden, McCook, and Life Sciences
• Hansen Hall and Hansen roadway (by track entrance)
• Jarvis Hall
• Seabury Hall
• Trinity Commons
