External Reviews

The Curriculum Committee reviews all departments and programs that offer a major at Trinity College. Typically, departments prepare a self-study in the fall semester of the year of the review; in the spring semester, an external team conducts an on-site visit. The procedures guiding these reviews, including a template for the self-study and the current ten-year review cycle, are posted here​.

External reviews provide departments and programs with an opportunity to reflect on their strengths and challenges while considering feedback. They often serve as the basis for curricular reform and academic planning—part of every department and program’s ongoing efforts to sustain and strengthen excellence.​
