Morton K. Pearson, M.S., P.E., (retired)
Mort is retired from United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney, where he was Mechanical Design Technical Discipline Chief for Pratt & Whitney’s aftermarket engineering business segment, responsible for insuring that the world wide staff of mechanical design engineers and practitioners, tools, and processes produced competitively superior mechanical solutions for PW’s aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul business. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Connecticut in 1974 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Hartford in 1982, and lives in Connecticut and Wyoming. He is a licensed engineer in CT and a member of SAE (Aerospace) International, focusing his time now on family, TEAC, bicycling and cross country skiing.
