Speak

Throughout the school year there are many opportunities through courses, clubs and events for students to hear real-world stories from those who have “been there, done that!” More than 40 alumni spoke at various events during the inaugural Entrepreneurship Center season, telling their stories to students in person and via Zoom sessions — why not you this year?

Judge

A big part of every learning experience is getting feedback from those who are experts and knowledgeable in their field. Whether it is judging ideas, senior projects, or evaluating start-up companies, being a judge at one of our events is a lot of fun! Join a celebrity panel of judges at one of our events and help advance student innovation at Trinity!

Mentor

Mentorship is a key component to our program and involves as much or as little time as you want. Students are developing serious ideas into tangible companies at Trinity — and they need real-world advice and guidance. Legal. Accounting. Marketing. Sales. Finance. Funding. The list goes on. Will you give students some time to ask questions and share your expertise?

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

For those alumni with a bit more time on their hands, who can afford to dedicate their expertise to working with a select group of advanced student entrepreneurs, an entrepreneur-in-residence role might be perfect for you. Students need regular meetings to advance along their startup’s growth. They need perspective, network connections, content reviews, and more. When student startups start to get traction, they need someone who is more than just a mentor — they need an entrepreneurial partner. That could be you!

Sponsor

Companies can sponsor academic project exploration at Trinity — particularly Senior Projects, where senior teams work on challenges given to them by alumni companies. Whether in Engineering, Computer Science, the sciences, or anywhere else in our Liberal Arts world, you can partner with a department to advance your ideas through fundamental, foundational, and applied research while students learn what it’s like to collaborate as part of your team.

Hire an Intern

Internships put students on pathways to success, whatever their interest happens to be.  Offering a paid internship to a student who could become your next stellar hire is a no-brainer for any alumni.

Be a Resource

The Entrepreneurship Center is building its Entrepreneurship Corps of alumni resources who can offer low or no-cost services to entrepreneurs as they start their entrepreneurial adventure. Some of these students will end up being your latest customer success!  IP and legal services. Accounting. Prototyping. Marketing and communications. IT/Programming. The list goes on. Hold office hours or work on a project basis.  Be a part of our growing network of resources!

Network

Giving students a range of contacts to reach out to as they explore their career ambitions is the primary goal of our growing alumni network.  Students are building their LinkedIn networks and forging business relationships. You can play a vital role by just connecting with students.  A secondary benefit is to connect Trinity Alumni with each other.

Fund

The Entrepreneurship Center has programs and opportunities for funding student initiatives. In 2024, Trinity will launch its Angel Investor Fund to support not only student endeavors but alumni ones as well.  A student Venture Analyst team under the Student Investment Fund will launch in 2024 to vet potential investments and share results with the Angel Investor Fund.  Contact us to find out more about these emerging opportunities.

Donate

The Entrepreneurship Center needs annual operating funds and we rely on Alumni donations from those who believe in our mission — to help grow innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets in students so they can be more successful, sooner, in their career and life pathways.  You can sponsor scholarships, internships, programs, events, facilities, and more.  We’d love to have a chance to tell you more!
