The College manages competitive grants requiring nomination or endorsement by Trinity College, including fellowships in the sciences. You will find opportunities listed by year of eligibility by clicking on the “In This Section” dropdown menu. They include:

  • Truman Scholarship
  • Beinecke Scholarship
  • Marshall Scholarship
  • Rhodes Scholarship
  • U.S. Student Fulbright Scholarship
  • Carnegie Endowment Junior Fellows

Please note: fellowships in the sciences requiring nomination by the College are managed by the Science Center. These include the Goldwater Scholarship and the Udall Scholarship, also listed here for information purposes. Please contact Alison Draper, director of the Science Center ([email protected]) to inquire.

Many other fellowships, scholarships and grants are available by direct application; we have listed some of these under Study Abroad/Languages and you will find many more in Handshake (Career and Life Design Center). There are dozens of grants tied to particular disciplines, populations, and types of opportunities. You can also search for these additional grants in national online fellowships directories and databases like those provided under Resources.

It takes time to find grants that match your interests and goals. Start early and make a list of potential opportunities.
