Using AI for Research
15-60 minutes
Students will be introduced to select AI tools that can be used at different stages of research including brainstorming topic ideas, developing keywords, searching for sources, etc. Ethical implications on using AI will also be addressed including best practices for when and how to use AI tools appropriately.
Objectives:
- Identify which AI tools are best suited for specific research purposes
- Use AI tools ethically and effectively for their research
- Verify and evaluate information/results provided by AI tools
- Understand the limitations of AI tools
