Trinity provides access to streaming video content through multiple platforms, and digitizes films from our DVD collections for course support.

Finding Videos

  • If faculty are interested in using a film for a course, they do not need to find it on a streaming service or DVD. Submit a request with the title and any other important information and staff will find the best way to provide the film.
  • All films currently available at Trinity through our subscription vendors are listed in OneSearch. To limit a search to video use the Resource Type = Audio and Video Streaming. DVDs are listed in OneSearch by limiting Resource Type to Video (DVD/VHS).
  • Note films from Kanopy and Swank are one year licenses. When planning to use a video in a course, be sure to check that access will be on when you need it. Expiration dates are listed in OneSearch in the film’s record.

Use of all streaming video is governed by this Streaming Video Policy. Send questions to [email protected]
