Trinity College is the host of The Connecticut Forum’s special event featuring director Spike Lee. On Saturday, November 9, The CT Forum, in partnership with The Bushnell, will welcome the Academy Award-winning writer, producer, director, actor, and professor for a live, unscripted conversation. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at The Bushnell.

Wall of Honor Pays Tribute to a Tradition of Philanthropy

The Fuller Arch is one of the most iconic architectural features of Trinity College. Students pass in front of the arch at Commencement, and classes reunite there for decades to come when they return to campus. Within this iconic feature of the campus is the Wall of Honor, where Trinity College pays tribute to a tradition of philanthropy at the college.

Trinity College Helps Select Final 10 Startups for Digital Health CT Acceleration Program

Digital Health CT, powered by Startupbootcamp, has announced its inaugural cohort in Hartford. The 10 chosen startups exhibit a diverse range of healthcare technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), process automation, personalized medicine, virtual health, and more. The 10 teams invited to take part in the Fall 2019 program, selected from hundreds of startups, will relocate to Hartford in November for the three-month accelerator program

The Trinity College Democrats welcomed U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) to a Gun Violence Prevention Forum held on Friday, October 4, in the McCook Auditorium. Murphy discussed the role he has played in the gun reform movement and answered questions on the issue of gun violence in America today.

Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Awards Grant to Trinity College to Plan a Convening of Women of Color Leaders

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded Trinity College a grant of $114,000 to support the planning of a convening of women of color (WOC) leaders in higher education and other sectors. The funding will be used over approximately 16 months, culminating in a meeting of WOC leaders expected to take place in January 2021. Trinity President Joanne Berger-Sweeney will serve as the principal investigator for this project.

Trinity Students Hear Stories from Seth Meyers during Conversation at Connecticut Forum

Several Trinity College students had the opportunity to attend the first event of The Connecticut Forum’s 2019-2020 season, “A Conversation with Seth Meyers,” held September 20 at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Hartford. Trinity is among the Forum’s Education Partners, which support open dialogue, lifelong learning, and the free and active exchange of ideas.
