Izabella Bautista is a sophomore student at Trinity College majoring in political science and human rights. For her uncommon and demonstrated leadership abilities in her high school and community, along with her academic achievements and commitment to working with diverse groups of people, Izabella was recognized as a Posse Scholar. Posse Scholars are students with high leadership potential who are motivated, ambitious, and positive team players.

Outside of the classroom, Izabella is the social chair for La Voz Latina, a club to increase awareness of Latin American culture, politics, and social issues in the Trinity community. She’s also the treasurer for the Crochet and Knit Club, a member of Trinity Against Gun Violence and Students Against Mass Incarceration, and co-founder of the Women of Color+ Coalition.
