“What could possibly go right?” That’s the question that award-winning restaurateur Danny Meyer ’80, P’20 recommended members of the Trinity College Class of 2024 ask when considering new opportunities.

Trinity College Associate Professor of Computer Science Ewa Syta received a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar award for 2024–25 to conduct research in her native country of Poland.

President Joanne Berger-Sweeney announced the appointment of six new trustees to the Trinity College Board of Trustees.

New tenure-track faculty members  began their appointments on July 1, 2024.

Throughout the seasons, even in the winter if it’s mild enough, the cross country and track distance runners turn Hartford and its neighboring towns into their training sites.

When asked about the breadth of his volunteer efforts, Mike Gilman ’76, P’05 responds with modesty. “I do a little bit of a lot of things,” he says. “I don’t know how great I am at anything, but I’ve been involved in a lot of different ways because I love Trinity.”

Anna Grant-Bolton ’25 has received a 2024–25 Newman Civic Fellowship from Campus Compact, a national coalition of colleges and universities working to advance the public purposes of higher education.

Director of Athletics Drew Galbraith announced the 2024 Trinity College Athletics Hall of Fame class.

Amanda Verga ’24—a recent Trinity graduate from Gloucester, Massachusetts, who majored in mathematics—has received a Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to pursue a master’s degree.

Reunion Weekend on June 6–9, 2024, was full of friends, memories, and renewed connections as Bantams from around the world flocked back to the Trinity campus.

During the course of the past year, more than 11,000 attendees participated in 47 Bicentennial events. Several of these events served to tie a bow on the celebrations.
