Tenure, Promotions

The Trinity College Board of Trustees voted to award tenure and to promote to the rank of associate professor the following faculty members: Lindsey A. Hanson, chemistry; Mareike Koertner, religious studies; Kirsti A. Kuenzel, mathematics; Rebecca K. Pappas, theater and dance; and Gerardo Ruiz Sánchez, economics. Also awarded tenure and promoted to associate professor, effective for the spring 2024 semester, was Michael J. Hatch, fine arts.

Those promoted to full professor were Shane M. Ewegen, philosophy; Andrew Flibbert, political science; and Michelle Kovarik, chemistry.

Faculty members awarded emeritus/a status were Wendy C. Bartlett, professor of physical education; Daniel G. Blackburn, Thomas S. Johnson Distinguished Professor of Biology; Adrienne Fulco, associate professor of legal and policy studies; Adam J. Grossberg, professor of economics; Anthony M. Messina, John R. Reitemeyer Professor of Political Science; John Platoff, professor of music; Richard V. Prigodich, Scovill Professor of Chemistry; Miguel D. Ramirez, Ward S. Curran Distinguished Professor of Economics; and Paula A. Russo, associate professor of mathematics.
