Institutional Partnership Program for Study Away

Trinity College, Office of Study Away

Trinity College is committed to making study away a more viable educational opportunity for all students.  For five decades, Trinity has been a program provider, enrolling its own students, and students from more than twenty-five peer institutions in its signature study away programs.

Now, Trinity College is pleased to offer peer institutions the opportunity to affiliate and become study away partners. The terms of affiliation entitle partners to tuition discounts, site visits for faculty and staff, and an exceptional level of student support. The terms of affiliation are summarized here:

Requirements for Affiliated Partner Institutions:

• 3-year commitment
• Approve at least one Trinity signature program open to affiliate partners.
• Promote Trinity affiliate programs on its institutional web site.
• Promote Trinity affiliate programs on campus via a global ambassador, study away fair table, study away events, advising and study abroad materials.

Requirements for Trinity College:

• 3-year commitment
• Apply a 20% discount for students studying on any of Trinity’s affiliate programs.
• Accept up to 10 student nominations from partner institutions per semester.
• Provide one site visit to affiliate institution per 6 student enrollments (not to exceed $3,000).
• Dedicate a Trinity program adviser for students from affiliate partner institutions.
• Provide copies of official academic transcripts.
• Provide visa support for students.
• Provide comprehensive medical/emergency support 24/7.
• Provide comprehensive study away orientations – pre and onsite.
