Experiential Learning
Experiential learning is at the heart of Trinity/La MaMa’s mission. The program offers students an intensive semester of full immersion into the performing arts scene in New York and into the city itself.
“I interned at Urban Bush Women, which launched a five-year career with them that catapulted many other experiences and fostered many relationships I still hold dear.”

Yasmeen Hadaway Trinity/La MaMa alumna ‘08“My internship with Arthur Aviles at the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance was a huge influence on why I went back to school to study arts management. It helped me see what’s needed to build a nonprofit from nothing and develop programming that champions social justice, and it made me an even stronger advocate for arts education.”
