Honorands and Commencement Speaker – 2025
An honorary degree is one of higher education’s most significant accolades. Honorary degree recipients should have demonstrated commitment to the humane and educational values that exemplify the mission of Trinity College. Nominations for 2025 honorary degree recipients and commencement speakers can be submitted using this form until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Trustee Awards for Excellence – 2024
The Board of Trustees initiated the Trustee Awards for Excellence in 2006 to express their appreciation for the exemplary service, dedication, and achievements of Trinity faculty, staff and students. The Board of Trustees believes there are many individuals from our campus community who are deserving of this recognition. We encourage all members of the community to consider submitting nominations for a commendable member of our faculty, staff or student body. Nominations for the Trustee Awards for Excellence can be submitted using this form until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.

The Arthur H. Hughes Award for Teaching Achievement by Junior Faculty – 2024
The Arthur H. Hughes Award for Achievement in Teaching by junior faculty is awarded annually at Commencement. The award constitutes one important means by which Trinity honors the teaching excellence of its faculty, which is central to its mission as a liberal arts college. We urge you to contribute to this important undertaking by reviewing the list of eligible faculty for the award and nominating those you feel exemplify outstanding teaching. Students and alumni/ae are invited to submit nominations for consideration. The deadline for the receipt of nominations is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.
The Thomas Church Brownell Prize for Teaching Excellence – 2024
The Thomas Church Brownell Prize for Teaching Excellence, awarded annually at Commencement, recognizes consistently outstanding teaching by a senior faculty member. The award constitutes one important means by which Trinity honors the teaching excellence of our faculty, central to our mission as a liberal arts college. We urge you to contribute to this important undertaking by reviewing the list of eligible faculty for the award and nominating those you feel exemplify outstanding teaching. Students and alumni/ae are invited to nominate candidates for consideration for the Brownell Prize. The deadline for the receipt of nominations is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.
