How to get started:

Meet with the OSA Advisors & Program Ambassadors:  

• Attend a student lead Study Away 101 session (Fridays at 1:00pm in the OSA – registration is requested)  
• Drop by the office on Tuesdays 10:30am – 12:00pm or Fridays 1:30pm – 3:00pm for Open Office Hours

• Lindsay Oliver (Advisor): Trinity College Rome Campus, & Trinity in Vienna ONLY

DEADLINES (these are firm deadlines): The Office of Study Away will begin reviewing applications mid-summer.  

• APRIL 1st – Program Petitions Deadline (only for programs not on our approved list)  
  • This form can be found in the External Program Request to Study Away.  
• SEPTEMBER 15th   
  • External Program Request to Study Away due to the OSA   
  • Trinity in Cape Town Application Deadline   
  • Trinity Rome Campus Application Deadline  
  • Trinity in Vienna Application Deadline (limited spots)  

*IMPORTANT: The following programs are very competitive and fill quickly. Students interested in these programs must submit an application by August 1st, 2025.

Passports:  

It is recommended that students have a valid passport in hand by the time they submit their program application or no later than 3 months prior to the start of their program. If you do not currently have a passport or it expires before 2027, you should start the application and/or renewal process during Summer 2025 (this can take several months). US citizens CLICK HERE to learn more. Bring your passport to campus in the fall as you will need it for post-acceptance and visa application processes.
