HISP 224: Spanish for Heritage Students- seats available

Mon/Wed 1:30 PM – 2:45 pm. Prof. Teresa Gelardo-Rodríguez.

This course is designed for Spanish-heritage students who have spent part of their lives in Spanish-speaking environments, including Spanish-speaking households in the U.S. and wish to strengthen their Spanish grammar, reading, and writing skills. It also offers an opportunity to deepen students’ understanding of Hispanic cultures.

By taking this course, students will not only improve their language abilities but also gain a greater appreciation for how Spanish shapes Hispanic identity. Furthermore, they will discover how proficiency in Spanish can be a valuable asset in both professional and social settings.
