Parking Lot and Roadway Closures Near LSC and Austin Arts

Beginning July 6 through late August, a portion of Ferris Roadway, the Austin Arts Center parking lot, and the parking lot on the north side of the Life Sciences Center will be closed while a steam line in the area is replaced.

This summer and into the fall, Facilities Services will be replacing a steam line between Austin Arts and LSC. In this first phase of the project:

• A portion of Ferris Roadway outside of Wiggins Studio and Austin Arts will be closed
• Emergency access and deliveries will be rerouted through the Ferris parking lot and along the walkway between AAC and the library
• Access to the McCook/Hallden parking lot will be from the roadway behind LSC
• Parking lots at AAC and the north lot of LSC will be closed
• Vehicle traffic between LSC and Ferris roadways is available at cut-through by Wiggins Sculpture Studio

Phase 1 will be complete in August, and work will continue through the fall.
